De Epic Twin is een vaste waarde in het assortiment van The Chord Company. Wat betreft opbouw komt hij overeen met de Oddysey 2 kabel. Het verschil zit hem in het feit dat hij is voorzien van een betere afscherming.
Door het gebruik van Verzilverd Koper is een Teflon isolatie een absolute must om de klankeigenschappen te behouden. De binnenmantel is gemaakt van siliconen buitenmantel om vibraties van buitenaf te dempen. De kabel heeft een diameter van 11mm. De afscherming gebeurd door een dubbele folielaag. De buitenmantel zorgt nog voor extra bescherming met een zeer dicht geweven braid. De kleur van de mantel is doorzichtig bruin.
Wij kunnen voor u de Epic Twin afmonteren in de door u gewenste lengte met orginele Chord Company bananen of spades. De bananen en spades worden speciaal voor The Chord Company gefabriceerd en vormen een belangrijk onderdeel van de volledige bekabeling.

Chord Epic speaker cable is the result of a happy marriage between two of our award winning speaker cables. Epic uses the same conductors as Chord Odyssey, and the shielding, visible through its translucent jacket is taken from our Signature speaker cable. The shielding brings big improvements right across the frequency range. There is space around individual instruments and the timbre of instruments is easy to hear. Violins, cellos and violas sound more realistic, likewise pianos, bass notes have great definition and rhythms are easy to follow and get involved with.
Fitting properly effective shields to speaker cable is a pretty big deal and fitting shielded speaker cable to your system can border on astonishing. The reduction and the level of perceived noise means that very fine dynamic and tonal information is easily heard, and brings improvements not only to the high frequency performance of a system, but also the bass and mid frequencies. The space around notes and the extra harmonic content that Epic can bring to a system is really surprising. The complex harmonic information that makes up the timbre of stringed and bowed instruments is carried extremely accurately.
